Demo App Terms of Use

1. Overview

The Retail Geek Loyalty Demo App (“the App”) is provided solely for demonstration purposes. It showcases how a branded digital loyalty app could function for cafés, retailers, and independent businesses.

By using the App, you agree to these Terms of Use.

2. Not a Live Loyalty Programme

The App is a demo environment. Any stamps, rewards, balances, points, locations, offers, or features:

• have no monetary value,
• are not connected to real businesses,
• may be reset or deleted without notice,
• are not redeemable in any real-world store.

3. User Accounts

You may create a demo account to experience the app’s features. You agree that you will not:

• use false or misleading information,
• attempt to access another user’s account,
• attempt to interfere with the App’s operation.

You may delete your account at any time within the App.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App for any unlawful, harmful, or disruptive purpose, including but not limited to:

• reverse engineering or attempting to extract source code,
• circumventing security mechanisms,
• automated account creation or misuse.

5. Data & Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Demo App Privacy Policy. By using the App, you acknowledge that your data is processed as described there.

6. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services including (but not limited to):

• Google Firebase Authentication
• Google Firebase Firestore
• Google/Firebase Cloud Messaging

These providers may process and store data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.

7. No Warranty

The App is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. Retail Geek Ltd makes no representations about:

• availability of the App,
• accuracy of demo content,
• performance or reliability,
• data continuity (demo data may be erased at any time).

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Retail Geek Ltd will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from:

• use of or inability to use the App,
• loss of demo loyalty data,
• errors, bugs or interruptions,
• actions of third-party service providers.

9. Account Deletion

You may delete your account within the App. Upon deletion, all associated personal data is permanently erased. If you cannot access the App, you may email app@retailgeek.co.uk.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
